Lease Operator (Weld County)

Essential Functions

  • Optimize each well on assigned route given daily operating conditions.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing all fluids on assigned route.
  • Check all equipment daily and make normal repairs by troubleshooting site situations.
  • Accurately report all regulatory items on a daily basis.
  • Report problems requiring additional help or equipment to Supervisor.
  • Accurately record meter readings, pressures and production volumes.
  • Perform job functions with concern for safety and environment.
  • Work professionally and respectfully with landowners and all others at all times.
  • Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the Production Foreman.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Must be computer literate to include use of laptop and related technologies.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess the ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance to include, but not limited to shovels, wrenches, rakes, etc.
  • Basic math skills required to calculate tank volumes and gas flow rates.
  • Willingly ask questions and seek direction from supervisor.
  • Shows enthusiasm for learning and represents self professionally.
  • Understands and meets quality standards.
  • Follows existing policies, practices, and procedures while adhering to company safety precautions.
  • Able to follow objectives and tasks that are set by the supervisor.

    Senior Financial Analyst (Denver)

    Essential Functions

    • Utilize corporate cash flow model to drive budgeting and strategic decisions
    • Work closely with operational team to update quarterly budget and forecast
    • Assist with preparation of quarterly board, investor and bank presentations
    • Help manage the Company’s current and future debt instruments
    • Assist accounting team to prepare various monthly financial and operational reporting
    • Assist with the Company’s ongoing commodity derivative program
    • Play an integral role in the preparation of the Company’s reserve report
    • Help manage and prepare research on macro E&P trends, specifically in the DJ Basin
    • Work with all disciplines within the Company to help on various analytical projects
    • Assist with Treasury activities

    Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

    • Previous experience in upstream oil and gas industry through either investment banking/private equity or experience at an E&P company
    • 2-4 years of industry experience with a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business focused fields
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Organized and detail oriented
    • Strong ability to be flexible and multi-task

      EH&S Technician

      Essential Functions

      • Provides safety leadership to management and employees to include OSHA standards and compliance strategies, coordinates with operations teams and EH&S leadership to identify needs and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, and work with contractors to ensure they meet Company EH&S policies and standards.
      • Performs tasks in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the organization’s EH&S standards and with federal and state regulatory requirements.
      • Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of programs, systems and procedures necessary to ensure the overall safety and health of employees and the community.
      • Assists in monitoring and preventing chemical, physical and biological hazards that could be present in the work area.
      • Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.
      • Participates in recommending improvements in processes, design, procedures, and operating equipment, to minimize the hazardous potential.
      • Ensures EH&S excellence through training, involvement in behavior-based programs, auditing of management and safety systems, rig inspections, gathering and trending leading and trailing indicators, and participation in the incident investigation & reporting processes.
      • Provides guidance, regulatory interpretation, and assists with procedure development for a variety of EH&S issues.
      • Supports development and implementation of the health and safety aspects of environmental management system.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

      • Intermediate level, typically 3-5 years of experience.
      • Moving towards full competency.
      • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a safety or environmental related discipline.
      • OR High School Diploma (minimum)
      • Identifies problems and develops potential solutions.
      • Makes decisions within well-defined parameters.
      • Familiarity with oilfield operations, equipment and terminology
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
      • Effective oral and written communication
      • Valid Driver’s License
