Will Beecherl
Chief Executive OfficerWill Beecherl began his career in Oklahoma City with Fina Oil & Chemical as a drilling & production engineer. In 1986, he joined Verdad Oil & Gas Corporation in Midland, TX to assume the company’s operations and later transferred to Dallas. While maintaining Verdad Oil & Gas as the core business, he has participated and served in multiple joint ventures. Will Beecherl graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983.

Philip Davis
PresidentAs President of Verdad Resources, Philip Davis oversees all aspects of Verdad’s DJ Basin activity and company strategy. Philip co-led Verdad’s entry into the DJ Basin through the sourcing and acquisition of assets from 2013-2017. Prior to Verdad Resources, Mr. Davis founded & led acquisition & management efforts for two mineral & royalty investment funds – Centennial Mineral Holdings LLC & Grayrock Minerals LLC, both purely focused on the DJ Basin. Earlier in his career, Philip worked for Vecta Resources, Ltd. in Denver and a private investment company focused on energy & infrastructure. Philip Davis graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance.

Arthur Beecherl
Chief Operating OfficerAs Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Beecherl manages all technical and operational aspects of Verdad Resources LLC, including: reservoir, drilling, completion, production, midstream, marketing, and EHS&R efforts. In 2013, Arthur joined the predecessor to Verdad Resources, Verdad Oil & Gas Corporation, as Vice President of Operations where he co-led Verdad’s entry into the DJ Basin from a technical, operational and financial perspective. Throughout his career, Arthur has held several financial and engineering roles in the energy sector. He obtained a Bachelor of Science, Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006.

Jimmy Kackley
Chief Financial OfficerMr. Kackley is the Chief Financial Officer for Verdad Resources LLC. Jimmy joined Verdad in June, 2017 as Vice President of Corporate Planning. Prior to Verdad, Jimmy was the Manager of Corporate Planning at QEP Resources where he acted as a liaison between executive management and the asset teams to develop and coordinate the consolidated corporate budget. In addition to corporate planning at QEP, Jimmy was active in the Company’s commodity hedging program as well as the Company’s A&D strategy. Prior to QEP, Jimmy was an Associate at Wells Fargo Energy Group where he developed comprehensive banking relationships with public and private E&P companies, including facilitating financing, cash management and commodity hedging solutions. Jimmy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance from Texas Tech University in 2004.

Andrew Jarrett
Vice President, Exploration & OperationsMr. Jarrett has served as Vice President of Exploration and Operations for Verdad Resources since June 2017. Andrew Jarrett began his career as a geologist at Chesapeake Energy (NYSE:CHK) where he held roles of increasing responsibility in exploration and development projects and worked extensively on acquisition opportunities. He then joined Indigo Minerals, a private equity backed exploration and production company focused on projects in East Texas and Louisiana. He then co-founded Felix Energy with a 400MM commitment from private equity, built an operating team and amassed a position of over 60,000 acres in the STACK play of Anadarko Basin. Prior to joining Verdad in 2017, he independently pursued distressed assets and other under-appreciated projects in the Rockies. Andrew Jarrett graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Geosciences and earned an MBA from the Jones School of Business at Rice University.

David Richardson
General Counsel and Vice President, Business DevelopmentDavid Richardson has served as Vice President of Business Development for Verdad Resources since December 2017. He began his career as an independent landman working surface and mineral projects for various operators in the DJ Basin. He then joined Foundation Energy Management, a private manager of energy investments for institutional partners, where he was fortunate to work several acquisitions and divestitures in multiple basins throughout the US. David Richardson then joined the land department at Anadarko Petroleum (NYYSE: APC) where he worked almost exclusively on acquisition projects in the DJ and Powder River Basins. In 2015, he joined APC’s Corporate Development group in Houston whose focus was on large upstream asset package divestitures. David Richardson graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and earned a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.

Price Livingston
Vice President, Finance & TreasurerPrice received his Bachelors of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. After business school, Price worked in the Finance Group at Chesapeake Energy where he worked on numerous acquisition & divestiture assignments. Price and his team advised on the monetization options for Chesapeake’s expansive mineral and override portfolio, which included exploring an MLP spin-off, merger, and partial divestiture options. He ultimately led the process on the sale of Chesapeake’s Non-Operated Minerals and Overrides to Haymaker Minerals & Royalties, LLC for $130MM at ~10x TTM EBITDA. Joining Verdad in 2016, Price led the effort to recapitalize the business in order to pursue the continued growth of the asset. Price serves as Vice President and Treasurer of Verdad Resources LLC and his responsibilities include a number of finance, acquisition, accounting, and midstream related activities.
